Our Beginning

Hillcrest Estate Buyers began not as a calculated business venture, but as a family responding to a community need. What started as simple property removal jobs revealed a deeper calling—families overwhelmed during life transitions needed more than just removal services; they needed guidance, expertise, and compassion.

The business grew from the shared desire of Angela and her husband Jeff to create a trustworthy alternative to the predatory practices Jeff had witnessed during his law enforcement career. Their son Mike brought his passion for collectible memorabilia and discovering treasures.

Formalized in 2018, Hillcrest continues to adapt while maintaining its foundation: creating peace of mind through expertise and compassion. Whether clients need immediate solutions or thoughtful guidance, the Hillcrest family brings decades of combined experience to every interaction.

Our Journey

As word spread and referrals grew, what began as informal assistance evolved into a structured service. “We became the first call when families realized the daunting task ahead of them,”Angela explains. “More than anything, we provide peace of mind that the process is manageable.”

Jeff’s collector’s eye—honed first through baseball cards and later expanded to various collectibles—proved invaluable. His ability to spot “what stands out” became his signature skill, identifying valuable items others might overlook. “I remember the thrill of a blind storage unit purchase that felt like walking into an Indiana Jones vault,” Jeff recalls.

Mike grew up in the world of collecting, accompanying his father and grandfather on sports memorabilia hunting excursions. His pivotal moment came early—purchasing a leather camel figure for five dollars, later learning it was worth $250. “That experience hooked me for life,” Mike smiles.

As the business grew, Leonardo started lending a hand. “In estate work, you’re balancing emotional weight with practical urgency—matching real value to real needs,” he says. His background in intigrated resort operations and VIP service made him a natural fit for guiding personal property transitions with clarity and care in the Palm Beaches.
